EXCITING UPDATE!

Last week you received a letter concerning the project to replace Egypt’s Hospital Al-
Germaniyya’s Laparoscopic Tower. The project remains the same but there are exciting changes to the matching funds being offered.

Southwestern Medical Clinic Foundation’s Matching Gift Program has become even more impactful! Mike & Robbin Gibson, Napa, CA, are now partnering with us by offering a $20,000 donation to raise the Matching Gift Grant to $25,000 MATCHING GIFT. Their generous gift is such a blessing as we partner together to raise the required $75,000 to purchase the much-needed Laparoscopic Tower for Al-Germaniyya Mission Hospital!

For over a century, the Evangelical Mission Hospital Al-Germaniyya has demonstrated the love of God to patients and families in Upper Egypt. Our mission remains to share God’s love through compassionate medical care—especially to those who are most vulnerable. We are writing to bring to your attention an urgent need for the replacement of our laparoscopic tower.

Al-Germaniyya serves a catchment area of approximately one and a half million people. Our surgeons and obstetrician-gynecologists routinely provide laparoscopic surgeries, which are less invasive than traditional procedures and improve outcomes. Over the years, Al- Germaniyya has become a trusted referral center for these surgeries.

Our existing laparoscopic tower has ceased functioning, and replacement parts are
unavailable. Renting equipment is neither financially nor logistically sustainable. Securing a replacement tower will allow us to continue and expand these essential services for hundreds of patients each year.

We are grateful to Southwestern Medical Clinic Foundation (www.SWMCF.org), which has generously committed a matching gift of $5,000. With this support, we are seeking the remaining $70,000 of the requested $75,000 to fully fund the purchase. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us to meet this remaining need?
