Dear Friends of Mbingo Pathology,

I am so thankful for you- your keen interest in the work here at Mbingo Baptist Hospital and the generosity you have demonstrated in the last 16 years that we have been serving here in Cameroon.  Your prayers, support and friendship are such an encouragement!!

As they have done many times in the past, our wonderful friends at Southwestern Medical Clinic Foundation (SWMCF) have offered to sponsor a matching fund to help us continue to improve our pathology lab.  We are so grateful!

You may recall that a few years ago, the fund enabled us to purchase cabinets for storing slides and tissue blocks.  Well, we have filled those now.  We would love to again increase our storage capacity to protect these important items.  We will also need to purchase a power back-up for the automated tissue processor we are expecting to receive this year (it is currently at the port waiting to clear customs).  Finally there are sundry items we use in the daily work that cannot be purchased in country.  So the goal of the matching fund this year is $10,000.
